  • 4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce Choose your favorite brand.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For that melty, gooey texture.
  • ½ cup sliced green onion Adds a fresh crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 24 pieces wonton wrappers These are the perfect vessel for your delicious filling.
  • Olive oil spray A light coating to help achieve that crispy exterior.

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Pastry brush
  • Cooking Spray

Method

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced green onion, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  2. Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the buffalo chicken filling in the center of the wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing out any air as you seal it.
  4. Once all the wontons are filled and sealed, place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook the wontons in batches for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove the wontons from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve them warm with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • Feel free to use leftover turkey or cooked tofu as a protein alternative.
  • For a lighter option, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or dairy-free cream cheese.
  • Adjust the heat level of the buffalo sauce to your liking.
