Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced green onion, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the buffalo chicken filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing out any air as you seal it.
- Once all the wontons are filled and sealed, place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook the wontons in batches for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the wontons from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve them warm with extra buffalo sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
- Feel free to use leftover turkey or cooked tofu as a protein alternative.
- For a lighter option, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or dairy-free cream cheese.
- Adjust the heat level of the buffalo sauce to your liking.
