Ingredients
  

For the Marinade:
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Dash red pepper flakes
For the Steaks:
  • 2 (1-lb) Ribeye steaks approximately 1-inch thick

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Place the ribeye steaks in a shallow dish or resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the steaks from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Check for doneness using a meat thermometer; aim for 130°F (54°C).
  5. Once cooked to your desired doneness, let the ribeyes rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
