Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs to bind the breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs for flavor and texture
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese for a cheesy kick
  • 1 package cheese ravioli 14 ounces, your favorite brand
  • 1 spray olive oil spray for golden crispiness
  • 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Shallow bowls
  • Cooking Spray
  • Tongs
  • Serving platter

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and setting up your work area with bowls for the eggs and breadcrumbs.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk the two large eggs until well blended. This will serve as your egg wash.
  3. In another shallow bowl, combine the Italian seasoned breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of flavor.
  4. Take each cheese ravioli and dip it into the egg wash, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, transfer it to the breadcrumb mixture, coating it thoroughly.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil spray. Arrange the ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
  6. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook the ravioli for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, remove the ravioli from the air fryer and serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For freezing, place uncooked, coated ravioli in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid.
  • For reheating, place leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes until crispy.
