Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). A hot oven ensures the salmon cooks evenly and quickly.
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, maple syrup, sweet chili sauce, lime juice, minced ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Step 3: Take a large piece of aluminum foil and place your salmon fillet in the center. Season the salmon with a little salt and pepper before pouring the glaze over it.
- Step 4: Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, sealing it tightly to create a packet.
- Step 5: Place the foil-wrapped salmon on a baking sheet and transfer it to the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
- Step 6: Carefully open the foil, and transfer the salmon to a serving plate. Drizzle any remaining glaze from the foil over the top, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Notes
- Let the salmon marinate for at least 15 minutes for better flavor.
- Use low sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
- Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
