Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado pit removed and flesh scooped from the skin
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice to add brightness and prevent browning
  • 1 pinch kosher salt to enhance flavor
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper to add spice
  • 1 slice thick slice of bread lightly toasted

Method
 

  1. Cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add lime juice, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mash to desired consistency.

  3. Spread the avocado mixture generously on the toasted bread.
