  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • Vegetable oil for frying
For the Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1.5 cups Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic puree
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Wings - Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. Step 2: Heat the Oil - In a large frying pan or deep fryer, heat enough vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Step 3: Fry the Wings - Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Step 4: Make the Sauce - Melt the butter and mix in the hot sauce, garlic puree, sugar, cayenne pepper, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and egg yolk.
  5. Step 5: Toss in Sauce - Transfer cooked wings to a bowl and toss with the sauce until coated.
  6. Step 6: Serve - Serve the wings immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • Ensure wings are dry before frying for maximum crispiness.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more cayenne pepper.
