Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cream cheese softened and cut into cubes for easy melting
  • 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese adds a spicy kick
  • 2 cups shredded Chihuahua cheese the star of the show, creamy and delicious
  • 1/2 cup sour cream gives a tangy flavor and smooth texture
  • 10 oz. Rotel tomatoes (recommended: Lime & Cilantro) for a zesty, fresh flavor
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder adds depth and warmth
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder enhances the overall flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for that aromatic touch
  • 1/2 cup whole whipping cream makes the dip extra creamy

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Oven-safe dish
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Whisk

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). A good preheat ensures that your dip will bake evenly and come out perfectly bubbly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese cubes. Use a spatula to break them down slightly and make mixing easier.
  3. Next, stir in the shredded pepper jack cheese, shredded Chihuahua cheese, sour cream, and whole whipping cream. Mix everything until well combined and creamy.
  4. Add the Rotel tomatoes along with the chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  5. Pour the cheese mixture into an oven-safe dish, spreading it out evenly with your spatula.
  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly, with a light golden color on top.
  7. Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or drizzled over your favorite dishes. Enjoy every cheesy bite!
