Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4.5 ounces dried beef aka chipped beef or Buddig Beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños drained and diced (mild or hot)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Hand Mixer or Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Serving dish

Method

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.
  3. To the cream cheese mixture, add in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and fresh chopped dill. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.
  4. Next, gently fold in the diced dried beef, chopped green onions, and diced pickled jalapeños. Make sure everything is evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  5. For the best flavor, cover your dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  6. Once chilled, transfer the Chipped Beef Dip to your serving dish. Pair it with crackers, fresh veggies, or chips, and watch it disappear!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
  • For a warm spin, bake the dip at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
  • Experiment with different herbs like chives or parsley for added freshness.
