Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese (8-ounce, softened)
  • 1 can crescent dough (8-ounce)
  • 1 can diced jalapenos (4-ounce, drained)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Sharp Knife or Pizza Cutter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained diced jalapenos, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the crescent dough. Flatten it slightly with a rolling pin if needed.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a log shape and pinch the seams to seal them.
  6. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  7. Arrange the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Once baked, let them cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.

  • Freeze unbaked pinwheels before slicing for up to 2 months.
