Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flax meal, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Add the extra virgin olive oil and water to the dry mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Cut the rolled-out dough into squares or rectangles.
- Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool on a wire rack before enjoying!
Notes
- Store cooled crackers in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Freeze for longer storage in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes to re-crisp.
