  • 20 frozen chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • Your choice of wing sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, or Teriyaki)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Method
 

Preparation Steps:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Step 2: Take the frozen chicken wings directly from the freezer.
  3. Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Pour over the wings and mix well.
  4. Step 4: Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in the air fryer basket.
  5. Step 5: Cook for 40-45 minutes in the oven or 25-30 minutes in the air fryer, turning halfway through.
  6. Step 6: Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
  7. Step 7: Toss the cooked wings in your choice of wing sauce until fully coated.
  8. Step 8: Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, consider broiling the wings for the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Feel free to customize the spices to your liking.
  • Leftover wings can be refrigerated for 3-4 days.
