Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). A hot oven is essential for achieving that crispy texture.
- Step 2: Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. The drier the wings, the crispier they will become in the oven.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, juice of the lemon, minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Whisk until well combined.
- Step 4: Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the marinade. Toss until every wing is evenly coated in the delicious garlic mixture.
- Step 5: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup (optional) or lightly grease it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Step 6: Place the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not touching; this will help them crisp up better.
- Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even cooking and browning. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.
- Step 8: Remove the wings from the oven and sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the hot wings. Return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt and get slightly crispy.
- Step 9: Once out of the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
