Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen French fries
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Season All salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large frying pan
  • Deep fryer
  • Slotted spoon
  • Spatula
  • Paper towels
  • Kitchen thermometer (optional)
  • Serving Plate

Method

  1. In a large frying pan or deep fryer, pour in 1 cup of vegetable oil. Heat the oil over medium-high heat, aiming for around 350°F (175°C).
  2. Take 1 lb of frozen French fries out of the freezer. No need to thaw them; they can go straight from the freezer to the hot oil.
  3. Carefully add the frozen French fries to the hot oil. Fry the fries in batches if necessary, for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the fries from the oil with a slotted spoon or spatula and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Season All salt and add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve the crispy fries hot with your favorite dipping sauces or as a side dish to your meals.

Notes

  • Ensure your oil is hot enough to prevent soggy fries.
  • Fry in small batches for optimal crispiness.
  • Season while hot for better flavor adherence.
