Method:
- Thaw the lobster tails by placing them in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours or submerge in cold water for 30-60 minutes.
- Once thawed, cut through the top shell of the lobster tails with a sharp knife, being careful not to cut the meat underneath.
- Boil a large pot of water with kosher salt and add the lobster tails. Boil for 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque.
- While the lobster cooks, melt 4 tablespoons of butter and mix in garlic powder, smoked paprika, Old Bay seasoning, and white pepper.
- Preheat the broiler. Remove lobster from pot, place in a baking dish, brush with the butter mixture, and broil for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the lobster with squeezed lemon juice and remaining melted butter on the side.
Notes
- Experiment with different seasonings like chili powder for a spicy kick.
- Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
- Grill lobster tails for a different flavor.
