  • 2 fillets Salmon about 6 ounces each, skin on
  • 2-3 tablespoons Olive oil for frying and flavor
  • 1 small or medium Lemon juiced
  • to taste Salt and pepper or lemon pepper for extra kick
  • 3 tablespoons Maple syrup for sweetness
  • 3 tablespoons Barbeque sauce for smoky flavor
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce for umami flavor

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Salmon - Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Step 2: Make the Glaze - In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, barbeque sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
  3. Step 3: Heat the Skillet - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Step 4: Cook the Salmon - Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  5. Step 5: Add the Glaze - Flip the salmon and pour the glaze over it. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting as it cooks.
  6. Step 6: Plate and Serve - Remove salmon from skillet, drizzle with remaining glaze, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Try using honey instead of maple syrup for a different sweetness.
