In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy natural peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Use a spoon or spatula to mix until smooth and well blended.
To the wet mixture, add the old-fashioned rolled oats and protein powder. Mix thoroughly until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips and mini M&Ms, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Using your hands, scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place each ball onto a baking sheet or plate. Repeat until all the mixture is formed into balls.
Refrigerate the energy balls for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up. Once chilled, they’re ready to enjoy!
