Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons Tahini a creamy base made from ground sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons Orange Juice freshly squeezed for a bright flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Cider Vinegar adds tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon Avocado Oil or Olive Oil for smooth consistency
  • 1 ¼ inch Turmeric fresh, peeled
  • ¼ teaspoon Sea Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Begin by measuring out all your ingredients. Peel the fresh turmeric root using a peeler, and cut it into smaller pieces to ensure it blends easily.
  2. In your blender or food processor, add the tahini, fresh orange juice, cider vinegar, avocado or olive oil, and the peeled turmeric. Sprinkle in the sea salt.
  3. Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water, one teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

Notes

  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep for up to a week.
  • Consider freezing it in ice cube trays for easy portioning.
  • For a savory twist, add a clove of garlic to the blend.
