- Begin by measuring out all your ingredients. Peel the fresh turmeric root using a peeler, and cut it into smaller pieces to ensure it blends easily.
- In your blender or food processor, add the tahini, fresh orange juice, cider vinegar, avocado or olive oil, and the peeled turmeric. Sprinkle in the sea salt.
- Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water, one teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
Notes
- Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep for up to a week.
- Consider freezing it in ice cube trays for easy portioning.
- For a savory twist, add a clove of garlic to the blend.
