  • 20-25 pieces crimini mushrooms cleaned and stems removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 1/2 cup Easy Marinara or your favorite pizza sauce
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2 ounces mini pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Mushrooms - Clean the crimini mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. Step 3: Make the Filling - In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Mix until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Add Sauce and Cheese - Stir in marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni until well combined.
  5. Step 5: Stuff the Mushrooms - Fill each mushroom cap with the mixture generously.
  6. Step 6: Arrange and Bake - Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Garnish and Serve - Remove from oven, let cool, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
