  • Baking sheet
  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for perfect rising and a golden finish.
  2. Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the biscuit mix to aerate it.
  4. Step 4: Add the buttermilk and gently mix until the dough comes together.
  5. Step 5: Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat down to 1 inch thick, and cut out biscuits.
  6. Step 6: Brush the tops with melted butter for flavor and a golden finish.
  7. Step 7: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and risen.
  8. Step 8: Brush with remaining melted butter after baking for that signature flavor.

Notes

  • For flaky biscuits, handle the dough as little as possible.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Freeze for longer storage; they last up to 3 months!
