Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag butterscotch chips
  • 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup peanut butter

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Melt the Butterscotch and Peanut Butter - Combine the butterscotch chips and peanut butter in a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Step 2: Add the Rice Krispies - Once smooth, gently fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated. Be careful not to crush them.
  3. Step 3: Melt the Semi-Sweet Chocolate - In a separate bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips using the same method until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Assemble the Bark - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the Rice Krispie mixture onto the sheet and press down evenly. Drizzle and spread the chocolate on top.
  5. Step 5: Chill and Set - Place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours until set. Lift out using the parchment paper.
  6. Step 6: Cut and Serve - Cut into pieces and serve or store for later enjoyment.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  • For longer storage, freeze wrapped pieces for up to three months.
  • Thaw frozen bark in the refrigerator before serving.
