  • 2 pounds smoked salmon roughly chopped or pulled
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice about 2 tablespoons
  • 4 ounces shredded Jarlsberg Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ small red onion peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons capers roughly chopped
  • to taste coarse sea salt
  • to taste cracked pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients. Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature. Chop the smoked salmon, green onions, and red onion, and have the dill and capers ready.
  2. Step 2: Mix the Creamy Base. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and crème fraîche. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Step 3: Add the Flavorful Ingredients. Add the lemon juice, shredded Jarlsberg Swiss cheese, chopped smoked salmon, green onions, diced red onion, dill, and capers. Gently fold until well combined.
  4. Step 4: Season to Taste. Taste your dip and add coarse sea salt and cracked pepper to your liking.
  5. Step 5: Chill and Serve. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
