Ingredients

For the Dip:
  • 2 cups Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 40 pieces regular-size marshmallows
  • Graham crackers for dipping
  • Fresh strawberries for dipping

Equipment

  • Oven-Safe Baking Dish
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Serving platter

Method

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure your Smores Dip is perfectly melty by the time it’s ready to serve.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Chocolate Mixture. In a mixing bowl, combine the 2 cups of Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips, 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
  3. Step 3: Transfer to Baking Dish. Pour the chocolate mixture into an oven-safe baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  4. Step 4: Add Marshmallows. Top the chocolate mixture with the 40 regular-size marshmallows, arranging them evenly across the surface.
  5. Step 5: Bake. Place the baking dish in your preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Keep a close eye on it; you want the marshmallows to puff up and become golden brown without burning.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy. Once the marshmallows are toasted to perfection, remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with graham crackers and fresh strawberries for dipping. Enjoy the melty, gooey goodness!

Notes
