How to Make Sugar Donuts
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Biscuits - Start by opening the can of refrigerated biscuits. Gently separate each biscuit and place them on a clean surface.
  2. Step 2: Shape the Donuts - Use your thumb to poke a hole in the center of each biscuit and gently stretch it to form a ring.
  3. Step 3: Heat the Oil - In your pot or deep fryer, pour in enough oil to submerge the donuts (about 2-3 inches deep). Heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
  4. Step 4: Fry the Donuts - Carefully place a few donuts into the oil, frying for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Step 5: Drain the Donuts - Remove donuts from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  6. Step 6: Coat in Sugar - While the donuts are still warm, roll them in the sugar until fully coated.
