- Step 1: Cook the Pasta - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 8 ounces of uncooked pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: Sauté the Chicken - In a large skillet, heat 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken strips, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Step 3: Create the Sauce - Once the chicken is cooked, reduce heat to low and pour in 1 cup of chicken stock. Simmer for a couple of minutes, then add 1 cup of heavy cream and stir until thickened (2-3 minutes).
- Step 4: Combine Everything - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated. If too thick, add a splash of chicken stock.
- Step 5: Serve and Garnish - Adjust seasoning as needed and serve warm, topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
