In a mixing bowl, combine 5 tablespoons of softened salted butter with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
If using pull-apart bar-b-q bread, tear it into slices about 1 inch thick. For Texas Toast, grab the pre-sliced version.
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
Place the buttered side of the bread down on a baking sheet.
Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving warm.
