  • 1 tsp Baking soda (for rising)
  • 1 tsp Salt (to balance sweetness)
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips (for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp Red food coloring (for color)

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine vegetable oil, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, unsweetened apple sauce, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Step 5: Mix in red food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
  6. Step 6: Fold in white chocolate chips.
  7. Step 7: Drop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
