  • 1 cup Buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour for coating

For the Biscuits:
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup Milk for moisture
For the Honey Butter:
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1/4 cup Honey

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Marinate the Chicken - Slice the chicken breast into smaller pieces. In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, and a pinch of pepper. Add the chicken pieces and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Biscuit Dough - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined.
  3. Step 3: Shape the Biscuits - Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thick and use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out rounds. Place on a baking sheet.
