Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings
Course: Appetizer
Cuisine: Mediterranean

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil plus more for serving
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic peeled
  • Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes for garnish
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Pita bread, baguette, or fresh veggies for serving

Equipment

  • Food processor or blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Serving bowl

Method

  1. Gather your ingredients: crumble the feta cheese if it’s not already done, and have your Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic clove on hand.
  2. In your food processor or blender, combine the crumbled feta cheese, whole milk Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and the peeled garlic clove.
  3. Secure the lid and pulse the mixture until it is completely smooth and creamy. If it seems too thick, you can add a little more olive oil or a splash of water to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste your dip. If you’d like a little more brightness, add a touch more lemon juice. If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, feel free to add another clove.
  5. Transfer the whipped feta dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes, along with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color.
  6. Serve your Whipped Feta Dip with pita bread, sliced baguette, or an assortment of fresh veggies. Enjoy the burst of flavors!
